Cathy is a 61-year-old patient who sought facial rejuvenation from Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jennifer Boll. What did you appreciate about the doctor and her staff?
Dr. Boll and her staff went above and beyond for me from start to finish. I felt like she was as excited as I was about the surgery and results. Everyone there is very professional, kind, and considerate.
What was the doctor’s availability?
Availability was never a problem. I called the office as things came up, and if one of the girls in the office didn’t have the answers I needed, they would find out and get back to me. They never made me feel like I was bothering them or asking too many questions, and they always answered my questions thoroughly.
How was your recovery?
It was so easy! I was amazed. I was nervous when I found out it was a six-hour surgery, but they assured me that’s normal. I was out of it in the beginning, but after the first week, I could have easily been back to my normal routine. I took another week to fully recover. I had a lot of bruising because I didn’t tell her I was taking turmeric, which was my fault. They gave me arnica for that and told me to apply heat. Within two weeks it was all healed.
How do you feel about your results?
They are phenomenal! I never had a strong profile before, but now I have one. The biggest compliment is when people say I don’t look like I had a facelift. I look fabulous, but not like I had surgery. When people hear “facelift,” they expect a windswept look, but my results look so natural.
If you could do it all over again, would you have still undergone this procedure? Are you planning on undergoing any other procedures in the future?
Oh, absolutely! And eventually, I will get more done. I’ll probably do my eyes next. At the time I consulted with Dr. Boll, she said she didn’t think I needed it yet.
