Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used to replace lost volume. This means your lines and wrinkles will smooth and your facial contours can be more pronounced. Some areas where they can successfully smooth out lines and wrinkles include around your mouth and nose, your chin, and your lips.
RADIESSE®
This filler is made of calcium and cellulose and is used to add volume specifically for smoothing moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. It is injected with a small needle and plumps your skin for a tighter, smoother surface. One of the major benefits of RADIESSE® is its ability to stimulate natural collagen production, which helps your results last longer. With proper care, results can last up to a year or more.
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC
This filler is the only one of its kind that is FDA approved for adding volume to your cheeks and midfacial region. Aging can cause skin sagging due to loss of subcutaneous fat in your face. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC helps restore that specifically to the cheeks and will help to restore facial contours previously lost to aging. With proper care and treatment, your results can last up to two years.
Restylane®
The main ingredient in Restylane® is hyaluronic acid formulated to act like the hyaluronic acid present in your body naturally. It helps in correcting moderate to severe wrinkles, especially between your mouth and nose. It can also be used to enhance lip volume. Follow-up treatments will prolong your results. Lip enhancement may require sooner retreatment compared to other treatment areas, as movement of the lips can cause the filler to dissolve sooner.
Restylane® Lyft™
Formerly known as Perlane-L®, Restylane® Lyft™ is a hyaluronic acid filler. It adds volume back to your cheeks. It can also be used to fill moderate to severe wrinkles, specifically around your smile. With proper care and treatment, your results could last up to one year.
BELOTERO BALANCE®
BELOTERO BALANCE® is also a hyaluronic acid filler. However, it differs from other options due to a thinner consistency. This makes it ideal for treating more delicate areas of the face, such as around the eyes or above the lips. Your results can last up to six months.
Other Injectables
Dr. Boll also offers a selection of injectables designed to reduce and remove wrinkles through relaxation of muscles.
BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport®
The main ingredient in these injectables is botulinum toxin. These formulas are injected into muscle tissue underneath your fine lines and wrinkles. Since many wrinkles are caused by muscle contracting, this stops the contraction and causes the wrinkles to disappear. These injectables are most appropriate for wrinkles on the forehead, on the nose, and at the outer corner of the eyes. Results typically last three to six months.
All injectables and fillers are administered by Dr. Boll. You may experience some mild bruising, and we will provide ice packs after to minimize any discomfort you may feel. Keep in mind that results can vary from person to person with all treatment options, and Dr. Boll will consult with you as to which injectable or filler is best suited for your treatment goals.
